What job makes $10,000 a month without a degree?

A 1099 freelance consultant, sales professional, or digital marketer can potentially earn $10,000 or more per month without a degree, especially with experience, strong skills, and a solid client base. These roles often rely on performance, networking, and self-motivation rather than formal education, and they may require proficiency with tools like CRM software or digital marketing platforms.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive in a 1099 (independent contractor) position, and why are they important?

To thrive in a 1099 position, you need expertise in your specific field, a strong understanding of self-employment regulations, and the ability to manage your own business operations. Familiarity with accounting software, invoicing systems, and relevant industry certifications can streamline administrative and compliance tasks. Excellent time management, self-motivation, and communication skills help you juggle multiple clients and maintain professional relationships. These skills and qualities are essential as they enable you to operate independently, deliver quality service, and ensure sustained business growth.

How can I make 2000 a week working from home?

A 1099 position often involves freelance or independent contractor work, which can offer flexible opportunities to earn $2,000 weekly by leveraging high-demand skills such as writing, graphic design, programming, or digital marketing. Success depends on building a strong client base, setting competitive rates, and managing multiple projects efficiently, often requiring self-motivation and good time management. Consistent income at this level may also involve working long hours or securing high-paying contracts.

What does a 1099 job position mean?

A 1099 job position refers to a freelance or independent contractor role where the worker is self-employed and responsible for their own taxes. Employers do not withhold taxes, and workers typically handle their own benefits, taxes, and expenses. This arrangement often involves flexible schedules and specific skill sets relevant to the job.

What is a 1099 position?

A 1099 position refers to a job where an individual works as an independent contractor rather than as a traditional employee. Instead of receiving a W-2 form from an employer, workers in 1099 positions receive a 1099-NEC form to report their earnings for tax purposes. These workers are responsible for their own taxes, benefits, and work expenses. 1099 positions offer more flexibility but less job security and fewer benefits compared to regular employment.

Job description

Remote 1099 Truck Driver Recruiter (Commission-Based)About J Rose Enterprises

J Rose Enterprises is a premier Class A CDL driver recruiting firm. We specialize in sourcing, vetting, and placing high-quality drivers into OTR, regional, local, and dedicated lanes across the country. We treat our recruitment team with the same respect and transparency we give our drivers, providing you with the tracking and support you need to maximize your success.

Position Overview

We are seeking motivated, self-driven Independent Contractor (1099) Truck Driver Recruiters to join our team on a 1099 commission basis. In this fully remote role, you will manage your own schedule and run your own independent recruiting business under our umbrella. You will utilize your sourcing skills to find qualified Class A CDL drivers, walk them through the application process, and place them with our steady carriers.

This is a 100% commission-only, 1099 independent contractor position. There are no caps on your earnings, and there are zero start-up fees or costs to partner with us.

Estimated Earning Potential
  • Pay Structure: Generous flat-rate commission paid per qualified driver placement.
  • Expected Earnings: $1,000 โ€“ $3,500+ per week (Earning potential is directly tied to performance, volume of placements, and hours worked).
  • Payout Schedule: Direct deposit upon successful driver onboarding/carrier verification.
Key Responsibilities
  • Independently source leads and market job openings across various channels (social media, job boards, networking).
  • Screen applicants to ensure they meet carrier guidelines, FMCSA regulations, and Department of Transportation (DOT) drug and alcohol standards.
  • Act as the main point of contact for drivers, guiding them from the initial interview through to orientation setup.
  • Maintain clear tracking of your active candidates.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Experience: Prefer previous experience in truck driver recruiting (Class A CDL focus heavily preferred) or general high-volume recruitment.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with trucking industry compliance (DOT regulations, Hours of Service, SAP process) is a major plus.
  • Tools: You must provide your own phone, computer, and reliable high-speed internet access.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, strong follow-up skills, and a self-motivated entrepreneurial mindset.
  • This is a remote position: must have a quiet, organized work space. Yes, you can make your own hours, BUT this is not a part time commitment. In order to be successful, you must commit to the learning process and remain motivated and dedicated.
What We Provide
  • Access to a steady pipeline of high-demand, attractive freight lanes and carrier accounts (Regional, Intermodal, OTR, Dedicated).
  • We provide weekly leads, but sourcing your own in addition is beneficial.
  • Complete transparency on carrier requirements, hiring areas, and payout milestones.
  • Training and ongoing support from our core team to help you streamline approvals and get your drivers rolling faster.
  • We are a community here.

J Rose Enterprises is an Equal Opportunity Employer. As an independent contractor, you maintain full control over your schedule, methodology, and work hours.
