Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert guidance on 1031 exchange rules, regulations, and procedures to promote compliance and deliver maximum benefits for our clients.
  • Evaluate and recommend the most suitable exchange structures tailored to each client's specific situation.
  • Oversee the processing of exchange transactions, monitoring time deadlines, and accurately preparing required documentation.
  • Review estimated closing statements, ensure timely fund disbursement, and oversee the collection of 1031 documentation.
  • Work relentlessly to help your clients, engaging with them through phone and email to address their needs and concerns.
  • Foster effective collaboration with various stakeholders, including internal staff, title companies, attorneys, brokers, and accountants, to facilitate seamless exchange processes.

Requirements:

  • An active Law Degree, CPA, or CES designation is strongly preferred.
  • A minimum of 5+ years of experience in tax and/or real estate, ideally in a leadership and/or advisory capacity.
  • In-depth expertise in tax laws, real estate regulations, and 1031 exchange strategies.
  • Outstanding organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail in handling complex transactions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to articulate intricate tax concepts effectively.
  • Proficiency in relevant software and tools is a plus, including Microsoft Suite, Google Suite, and Adobe Acrobat Pro.

Hours:

Typical work hours are from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, based on the time zone.

Location:

Our company headquarters are in Denver, CO, but this role can be performed remotely.

Compensation:

  • $83,500 - $114,500 base salary, depending on experience
