Job description

101 Mobility is the nation’s largest and first full-scale provider of Accessibility and Mobility equipment. We are currently seeking a full-time installation/service technician to work from our North Miami location. The hours of operation are Monday - Friday 8:30am-5pm.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain warehouse
  • Prepare for installations
  • Load work vehicles
  • Install ramps, stairlifts, auto lifts, wheelchair lifts, and residential elevators for ease of access for aging and disabled persons.
  • Provide service and repairs to mobility equipment that we provide.
  • Maintain inventory.
  • Deliver first-rate customer service.

Qualifications:

  • Organized.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Problem solving skills.
  • Able to clearly communicate mechanical issues to manufacturers tech support.
  • Follow instructions well.
  • Possess basic mechanical skills.
  • Familiar with power and manual tools.
  • Able to lift 100 lbs.
  • Comfortable loading equipment in an orderly and secure manner.
  • Clean driving record.
  • Computer literate.
  • Available to work extended hours, including some evenings and weekends as needed.
  • Willing to provide phone troubleshooting support to customers and other field technicians.

Candidates must have a track record of reliability and punctuality at all times. Strong internet and data entry skills are required. Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) a plus.
