HiFyve is hiring a Manufacturing Engineer (CNC Programming / Precision Machining) in the High Precision Manufacturing industry in Sidney, OH! 


Salary: Up to $100K/yr

Shift: Day Shift

Location: Sidney, OH


Position Overview:

A leading manufacturer of highly engineered, mission-critical components is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer – CNC Programming to support advanced machining operations in a high-precision manufacturing environment. 


Key Responsibilities:


  • Develop and optimize CNC programs for 3-, 4-, and 5-axis machining centers
  • Create machining strategies for complex, tight-tolerance components
  • Support process development, tooling selection, setup optimization, and production launches
  • Interpret engineering drawings, CAD models, and GD&T requirements
  • Troubleshoot machining and programming challenges to improve quality and efficiency
  • Partner with Quality, Engineering, and Operations teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:


  • 5+ years of CNC Programming and/or Manufacturing Engineering experience
  • Strong experience with Siemens NX (Unigraphics) and/or Mastercam
  • Ability to develop CNC programs from scratch
  • Strong understanding of GD&T, tooling, cutting strategies, and precision machining processes
  • Experience supporting shop floor manufacturing operations
  • High-precision manufacturing environments such as aerospace, defense, turbine, medical device, power generation, or industrial machining
  • 5-axis machining experience
  • Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement experience
  • ERP/MRP system experience
