Job description

We save lives while empowering individuals to achieve their healthiest selves.

Position: Registered Nurse / Licensed Practical Nurse

Location: West Linn, Oregon

Our organization, situated in West Linn, Oregon, offers a residential treatment program dedicated to adolescents seeking help for Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, Binge Eating Disorder, or Exercise Addiction.

At our facility, we guide adolescents and their families on the journey to complete recovery, equipping each young person to face life's challenges without the burden of an eating disorder. We provide compassion, education, and support, engaging families as essential partners in the recovery journey. Our goal is to help each adolescent replace their eating disorder with healthy coping mechanisms and a profound understanding of how to lead a life that celebrates their unique individuality.

We are currently looking for a per diem Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to become part of our dedicated team.

Schedule: Day shifts (7 AM - 7 PM) and overnight shifts (7 PM - 7 AM) with rotating weekend availability required; our per diem roles necessitate working at least 2 shifts per month.

Total Rewards:

We are dedicated to fostering a diverse workplace and take pride in being an equal opportunity employer. All qualified candidates will be considered for employment without regard to race, color, religion, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, national origin, genetics, disability, age, or veteran status.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Measure and document vital signs as necessary.
  • Observe and report any unusual behaviors exhibited by clients.
  • Administer medications as prescribed.
  • Ensure timely and accurate documentation.
  • Demonstrate normalized eating habits by finishing meals during work hours.
Qualifications:
  • Possession of an active Registered Nurse license (or eligibility for licensure).
  • Experience in residential or inpatient behavioral health and mental health environments is advantageous.
  • Previous experience working with individuals overcoming eating disorders is a plus.
  • Must have current CPR/BLS certification prior to starting; training can be arranged if necessary.
