Job description

Join a dynamic and growing team as an Operations Supervisor, where you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of daily operations. This position is responsible for overseeing labor, productivity, quality control, and safety measures within the Operations Department. The ideal candidate will be a proactive leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is committed to continuous improvement, and is passionate about fostering a positive workplace culture. Responsibilities
  • Supervise and manage daily operational activities to ensure efficiency, safety, and quality standards are met.
  • Lead, train, schedule, and support team members, including conducting performance appraisals and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Assist with recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding new employees.
  • Monitor and manage labor, productivity, and job profitability, ensuring adherence to established budgets and company policies.
  • Implement and enhance operational procedures, systems, and reporting to improve information flow and business processes.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards, maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Collaborate with management and other departments to set and implement policies, procedures, and systems.
  • Address and resolve employee concerns, working closely with Human Resources and management as needed.
  • Oversee inventory management, equipment utilization, and process workflow improvements.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, management, and clients to resolve issues and enhance the customer experience.
  • Participate in internal audits, project status meetings, and ongoing training opportunities.
  • Perform site walk-throughs and quality control inspections to ensure standards are maintained.
  • Document and report workplace incidents or injuries promptly to appropriate personnel.
  • Contribute to strategic planning and operational reviews by providing recommendations and implementing action plans.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • 2 years of experience in an operations, supervisory, or related role preferred.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and people management skills.
  • Excellent communication, conflict management, and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to plan, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and safety standards.
  • Proficient in data entry, reporting, and basic computer skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to work extended hours and be on-call as needed.
  • Adaptable to changing environments and open to new ideas and processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to motivate and retain employees.
  • Understanding of budget management and operational metrics.
