The Production Supervisor supervises the daily activities of a production area to ensure that volume, cost, waste, and quality standards are achieved. Other main responsibilities include: Coordinating work schedules, staffing requirements, and production sequences to maximize productivity. Monitoring production activity, identifying process problems, troubleshooting causes and developing solutions. Suggesting improvements to improve efficiency and safety. Delivering or coordinating staff training and on-boarding new staff. Ensuring all safety policies and processes are followed.
Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for tracking the achievement of production KPIs.
  • Responsible for daily continuous tracking and timely and effective communication with other departments regarding unresolved issues raised by various departments, providing guidance to ensure that these issues are resolved.
  • Responsible for managing the property and personal safety of workshop personnel, as well as implementing reward and punishment measures.
  • Responsible for conducting daily assessments of shift supervisors and team leaders in the workshop, assigning improvement projects to each individual, and organizing weekly meetings to drive the progress of improvement projects.
  • Responsible for collecting workshop KPI metrics, analyzing on-site management project indicators, and implementing targeted improvements.
  • Responsible for objectively evaluating employee performance based on various indicators and continuously improving and enhancing teamwork efficiency.
  • Responsible for implementing and continuously optimizing on-site 6S management, controlling defects, and reducing costs.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in related field or relevant work experience.
  • Requires 5-8 years' experience in production management.
  • Thorough knowledge of functional area and department processes.
  • Strong experience of productions safety and lean production required.
  • Strong Knowledge of ISO9001 and work-floor 6S standard.
  • Ability to work under pressure, coordination ability, interpersonal communication ability, planning and execution ability.
