Job Description

We are seeking a VP Global Account Management Tech and Data Centers to head our Account Excellence team, driving sustainable growth across a portfolio of key Global Technology and Data Center customer accounts. This role is accountable for strengthening customer partnerships, maximizing retention, accelerating new business growth, and delivering best-in-class customer experiences.

Working closely with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders, you will champion innovation, enhance profitability, and ensure operational excellence. As a member of the Global Account Excellence Leadership Team, you will help shape strategy, lead critical Data Center initiatives, and drive account management excellence across some of DHL Supply Chain's most strategic global customers.

Responsibilities

  • Leads the development and execution of strategic Global Customer Account Plans and Joint Business Plans to drive long-term growth, customer retention, and value creation across assigned Global Technology and Data Center accounts.
  • Builds and maintains executive-level customer relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and championing the Voice of the Customer to enhance satisfaction, loyalty, and business performance.
  • Drives global account growth by identifying, pursuing, and securing strategic business opportunities, including complex, multi-regional and global deals.
  • Leads account governance, renewal strategies, RFQ management, contract compliance, and commercial consistency across global operations.
  • Orchestrates cross-functional and cross-regional collaboration to ensure alignment of operational, commercial, and systems requirements, while effectively managing escalations and critical business issues.
  • Increases profitability through value-based pricing, commercial optimization, solution enhancement, and margin improvement initiatives.
  • Delivers best-in-class customer experiences by ensuring successful solution implementation, facilitating executive business reviews, and maintaining strong stakeholder engagement at all levels.
  • Champions innovation and continuous improvement by embedding DHL Supply Chain solutions, sharing best practices, and driving transformational initiatives across customer operations.
  • Leads global customer communities and foster collaboration across DHL Group divisions to provide a coordinated, enterprise-wide approach for strategic customers.
  • Identifies, evaluates, and secures investment opportunities that support long-term account growth and delivery of Joint Business Plan objectives.
  • Leads, develops, and inspires a team of Global Customer Account Managers, while providing matrix leadership to a broad network of regional and functional stakeholders to achieve customer and business objectives.


Required Education and Experience

  • Degree-level education or equivalent professional experience, required.
  • Postgraduate Master's Degree qualification, desirable.
  • Demonstrable success in delivering transformational business growth and expanding strategic customer relationships, required.
  • Extensive knowledge of supply chain operations, logistics solutions, and global customer management, required.
  • Strong leadership experience within account management, business development, or commercial functions, with a proven ability to lead high-performing teams, required.
  • Experience leading large-scale, complex, and cross-functional projects within global organizations.
  • Process-oriented mindset with a collaborative, consultative approach to problem solving and decision making, required.
  • Experience operating successfully across global, regional, and country environments, managing multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development, with evidence of ongoing learning and leadership growth.
