Description

The National Settlements Custody Relationship Manager I serves as a key partner to one or more Relationship Managers by providing administrative, operational, and client service support for a portfolio of National Settlements and Custody accounts. This role is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of daily account activities, including cash movements, securities settlements, trade processing, account maintenance, and a variety of client servicing requests.

Summary:

The National Settlements Custody Relationship Manager I serves as a key partner to one or more Relationship Managers by providing administrative, operational, and client service support for a portfolio of National Settlements and Custody accounts. This role is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of daily account activities, including cash movements, securities settlements, trade processing, account maintenance, and a variety of client servicing requests.

The National Settlements Custody Relationship Manager I plays a critical role in supporting the administration and ongoing servicing of custody and settlement relationships. Working closely with Relationship Managers and internal business partners, this position coordinates account administration activities, obtains and reviews account documentation, processes account maintenance requests, and ensures all transactions and account-related functions are completed accurately and in accordance with bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

The ideal candidate is customer-focused, highly organized, and detail-oriented, with the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced financial services environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, and the ability to navigate multiple systems while maintaining accuracy and efficiency are essential for success.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Service existing accounts and set up new accounts.
  • Support day-to-day money movements (ACH, wires, checks).
  • Ensure compliance with custody and trust rules.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and maintain accurate records.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and assist with complex issues.
  • Ensure positive customer experience and manage risks.
  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • 1 or more years of Customer Service or Client Support experience
