Job description

Store Operations Coordinator

The Store Operations Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely execution of operational programs and projects that support store performance across the organization. This individual serves as a key liaison between stores, vendors, and corporate partners, helping to maintain operational processes, manage store support requests, and drive consistent execution across the field.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and can effectively manage multiple priorities while communicating with stakeholders at all levels. This role acts as a subject matter expert on operational processes and supports cross-functional initiatives related to inventory management, store organization, storage programs, and store communications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and execute operational projects and initiatives supporting retail store operations.
  • Manage and respond to inquiries from stores, field leadership, and external vendors.
  • Process storage requests and maintain accurate records for a large portfolio of storage units.
  • Coordinate storage payments, issue resolution, and vendor communications.
  • Assist in the development, documentation, and implementation of new operational processes.
  • Communicate process updates and operational changes to stores and field management teams.
  • Serve as a store operations subject matter expert on cross-functional projects and initiatives.
  • Monitor operational activities to ensure adherence to established procedures and service level expectations.
  • Maintain detailed records, reporting, and tracking documentation.
  • Support inventory, floor set, backroom organization, and storage-related operational programs.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiencies.
  • Provide guidance and support to less experienced coordinators as needed.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 23 years of experience in retail store operations, retail support, operations coordination, or related field.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with multiple business partners.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting large-scale retail operations.
  • Experience working with vendors and third-party service providers.
  • Knowledge of inventory management and store support functions.
  • Process improvement or project coordination experience.
  • Customer-focused mindset with strong relationship-building skills.
