Job description

Job Title: MIG WelderJob Description

This role involves performing MIG welding on sheet metal in a high-volume production environment. You will weld primarily on feet components throughout the day using flat and vertical (up-down) positions, focusing on consistent quality, safety, and efficiency.

Responsibilities
  • Perform MIG welding on sheet metal components, with a primary focus on feet assemblies.
  • Execute welds in flat and vertical (up-down) positions in accordance with production requirements and quality standards.
  • Operate and work alongside robotic welding equipment as needed to support production output.
  • Inspect welds for quality, accuracy, and consistency, and make adjustments to maintain required specifications.
  • Follow detailed work instructions, safety procedures, and production schedules in a fast-paced environment.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to support a safe and efficient production floor.
  • Stand and work on your feet for up to 10 hours per day while performing repetitive welding tasks.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily production goals and resolve any welding-related issues.
Essential Skills
  • Proven MIG welding experience, specifically working with sheet metal.
  • Ability to perform flat and vertical (up-down) welds accurately and consistently.
  • Capability to stand and work on your feet for 10 hours per day in a production environment.
  • Familiarity with operating or working alongside robotic welding systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality welds.
  • Ability to follow safety procedures and work instructions in a production welding setting.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
