🔧 Maintenance Technician II - Mechatronics & Robotics

Ready to work with advanced automation, robotics, and high-speed equipment? We're looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician II to help keep our state-of-the-art distribution facility running efficiently.

📍 Location: Rockville, VA

💲 Pay Rate: $32.50/hour

🕒 Contract-to-Hire Opportunity (Direct hire after 3-4 months based on performance and attendance)

What You'll Do
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain conveyors and material handling equipment
  • Perform preventive and predictive maintenance
  • Read blueprints and electrical schematics
  • Support electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems
  • Manage work orders and maintenance activity through CMMS
  • Track downtime, maintenance records, and spare parts inventory
What We're Looking For
  • 2+ years of maintenance experience in manufacturing, distribution, or automation environments
  • Experience with conveyors, MHE, or automated systems
  • Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics
  • Strong electrical and troubleshooting skills
  • High School Diploma or GED
Preferred Experience
  • PLCs and controls
  • Robotics and automation
  • CMMS systems
  • Mechanical/Electrical certifications, degree, or apprenticeship training
Work Environment
  • Large automated distribution facility
  • Up to 10,000 steps per shift
  • Lift up to 49 lbs.
  • Open to any 10-hour shift schedule

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rockville, VA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $32.50 - $32.50/hr.
