Job description

Location: Dublin, OH – Hybrid (Tuesday–Thursday onsite; Monday & Friday remote)
Pay Rate: $21/hr
Duration: Through 05/04/2027
Schedule: Full-time, hybrid


About the Role:

The Finance – Cash Applications team is looking for a detail-oriented and analytical professional to initially support cash application activities and then transition into project-based initiatives. This role will involve applying payments to the correct customer accounts, researching remittance information, analyzing payment data, supporting reconciliations, and identifying opportunities to improve and automate cash application processes.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply customer payments accurately to the appropriate accounts.
  • Review and research remittance details to resolve payment application issues.
  • Analyze payment and remittance data to identify trends, discrepancies, and process improvement opportunities.
  • Reconcile bank statements, lockbox files, and customer accounts.
  • Contact customers when needed to obtain missing remittance information.
  • Collaborate with Accounts Receivable, IT, Treasury, and other internal teams.
  • Prepare reports and dashboards for management.
  • Analyze Excel data, including pivot tables and formulas.
  • Support system enhancements, automation initiatives, and other finance projects.
  • Handle ad hoc analytical requests and project deliverables.
  • Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.


Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in cash applications, accounts receivable, financial analysis, or a related area.
  • Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and formulas.
  • Experience with CashPro or banking systems/applications.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Customer service experience is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, or a related field is preferred; high school diploma is the minimum requirement.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with HighRadius.
  • Experience with RPA or Power Automate.
  • Knowledge of lockbox processing and ACH, wire, or credit card payments.
  • Experience supporting finance transformation or system implementation projects.
  • Strong leadership abilities, curiosity, and project management/strategic thinking skills.
