Reports To: Director of Pricing

OBJECTIVE:

The Export Coordinator supports global customers by preparing quotations, processing and maintaining orders, coordinating shipments, and providing exceptional customer service. This role facilities communication between international customers, freight partners and internal departments to support accurate order processing, on time delivery and effective issue resolution. The Export Coordinator builds and maintains positive customer relationships through effective collaboration and support of international business activities.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 

• Prepare and provide quotes for international customers based on product, quantity, freight, and other applicable costs.
• Communicate with international customers regarding quotes, orders, shipment status, and general questions.
• Enter and maintain customer orders and ensure information is accurate and complete.
• Coordinate with internal teams to confirm product availability, pricing, and order requirements.
• Work with customers and internal teams to resolve order, shipping, delivery, and product-related issues.
• Communicate shipment updates and delays to customers and help coordinate solutions when issues arise.
• Work with freight forwarders and other shipping partners as needed to obtain shipment information and resolve service issues.
• Follow established company procedures for international orders, documentation, and customer communications.
• Maintain accurate records of quotes, orders, customer communications, and related information.
• Develop positive working relationships with international customers and provide a high level of customer service.
• Escalate complex customer, pricing, shipping, or operational issues to the appropriate manager or department.
• Evaluate pricing items and make revisions where necessary.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

• Strong customer service skills with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with international customers.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to coordinate with multiple internal departments to confirm product availability, pricing, order requirements, and shipment details.
• Effective problem-solving skills while escalating complex matters when appropriate.
• Working knowledge of international order processing, shipping documentation, and freight coordination.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• High School Diploma, or GED equivalent preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in international customer support preferred.
• Experience working with freight forwarders, transportation providers, and shipping partners preferred.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, and Word preferred.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

This position requires close visual acuity to perform activities such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; ability to perceive the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction, and making fine discriminations in sound; Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Must be able to remain in a stationary position and/or upright, for prolonged periods of time, traverse stairs, maneuver in tight spaces, reach overhead, squat, bend, kneel, stoop, and crouch occasionally during 8-10-hour work shift.

BASE PAY:

The listed range is what we reasonably expect to pay for this opportunity at the time of this posting. Actual compensation is based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, the individual’s experience, education, certifications, knowledge, skills and geography/ work location, and may ultimately be more or less than the posted range. Base pay does not include other forms of compensation, such as our offered benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, FSA and 401k plan, holiday, sick and vacation days.
