Location: Columbus, OH

Shift: 8 AM to 5 PM

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager I with a strong focus on project scheduling and coordination. This role is responsible for developing and maintaining detailed project timelines, ensuring alignment across teams, and driving projects to completion within defined scope and deadlines. The ideal candidate will bring a structured, analytical approach to scheduling, along with strong communication and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities

Project Scheduling & Planning

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules, including tasks, dependencies, durations, and resource allocation
  • Utilize project management tools to track and manage timelines effectively

Coordination & Communication

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and external partners to ensure alignment on deliverables and timelines
  • Communicate project updates, risks, and potential delays in a timely manner

Progress Monitoring & Analysis

  • Track project performance against established schedules
  • Identify bottlenecks, risks, and deviations, and recommend corrective actions
  • Analyze data to forecast potential challenges and propose solutions

Reporting & Advisory

  • Prepare and deliver regular status reports on project health, milestones, and timelines
  • Provide recommendations for schedule adjustments and recovery plans when needed

Resource Management

  • Support resource planning and prioritization to ensure efficient project execution
  • Help maintain alignment between workload, timelines, and budget considerations

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in project scheduling tools (e.g., MS Project or similar)
  • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to interpret project data, assess risks, and optimize schedules
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders
  • Organizational Skills: Highly detail-oriented with strong time management capabilities
  • Experience: Prior experience in project scheduling, planning, or project management roles
