Job description

As a Business Development & Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth, managing client relationships, and ensuring project success from initial consultation through completion. Responsibilities
  • Lead business development and sales efforts to drive revenue growth by managing both new and existing customer relationships.
  • Guide clients through the design-build process, ensuring clear communication and an exceptional customer experience.
  • Develop accurate project estimates and negotiate contracts to align with company profit margins.
  • Oversee project pipelines, including backlog, in-progress, and completed projects, ensuring quality and profitability.
  • Foster long-term customer relationships through regular follow-ups at 30-day, 6-month, and one-year intervals.
  • Collaborate with managers, subcontractors, and team members to ensure project execution aligns with business goals.
  • Conduct weekly site visits to monitor project quality, schedule adherence, and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years of experience in sales, business development, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proven leadership experience in managing client relationships and driving business growth.
  • Background in landscape architecture, design, or the green industry is a plus.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD, SketchUp, Lumion, Microsoft Office 365, and CRM/estimating platforms (Aspire ERP experience is a plus).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and a results-driven approach to achieving business objectives.
  • Involvement in local organizations or community engagement is a plus.
