We’re looking for a dependable Procurement Specialist to support procurement operations through purchasing coordination, supplier management, reporting, and data analysis. What You’ll Do

• Solicit, evaluate, and compare supplier bids to support cost-effective purchasing decisions.
• Generate and manage purchase orders from approved requisitions.
• Monitor purchase orders through completion to ensure timely delivery and accuracy.
• Investigate and resolve purchase order discrepancies, supplier concerns, and invoice issues.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to understand purchasing needs and support procurement activities from requisition through payment.
• Support ProcurementHelp requests by providing timely assistance and accurate information.
• Create reports and perform data analysis using Microsoft Excel, ERP systems, and procurement tools.
• Assist with supplier relationship management to support service quality and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support sourcing activities by gathering, extracting, and analyzing procurement data from multiple systems.
• Work closely with Accounts Payable to resolve invoice discrepancies and ensure contract compliance.
• Track and report savings methodologies, purchasing metrics, and procurement performance data.
• Support automation efforts and process improvement initiatives within the Procurement Department.
• Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual procurement reports as requested.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records, supplier information, and supporting documentation.
• Communicate effectively with vendors and internal teams to ensure smooth procurement operations.
• Support additional procurement and administrative responsibilities as assigned.

What You’ll Need

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or related field preferred; equivalent work experience may be considered.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an office, purchasing, procurement, or analytical support role preferred.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel; ERP system experience preferred, including JD Edwards.
• Demonstrated attention to detail with strong problem-solving, analytical, and multi-tasking abilities.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities while maintaining accuracy and professionalism in a team-oriented environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively across all levels of the organization.
• Ability to remain seated and work at a computer for extended periods throughout the workday.
• Ability to maintain focus in a fast-paced office environment with frequent interruptions and shifting priorities.
