Job description

This role is responsible for managing fixed income portfolios for a diverse client base. The Portfolio Manager will be accountable for investment decision-making, trade execution, and continuous portfolio oversight, with a strong focus on achieving client objectives and maintaining effective risk management.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Manage and trade short-duration fixed income portfolios composed of U.S. Treasuries, agencies, investment-grade corporates, municipals, securitized products, CDs, and money market instruments.
  • Ensure consistent portfolio management across client accounts while aligning with target allocations and unique client mandates.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with Broker-Dealers to ensure optimal market coverage and best execution practices.
  • Analyze individual securities and sectors—including money markets, municipals, corporates, securitized assets, and government securities—based on macroeconomic conditions, sector fundamentals, and interest rate outlooks.
  • Provide customized analytical support and investment recommendations for clients and prospects in collaboration with sales team to support business development and client service efforts.
  • Develop fixed income strategies, contributing to portfolio positioning across LGIPs, Money Market Funds, and Separately Managed Accounts.
