Job Description Project Manager - Data Center Construction Overview Our client is a leading technology infrastructure and systems integration company delivering large-scale mission critical projects across the United States. They are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the construction and deployment of complex data center projects. This is an opportunity to oversee high-profile, mission-critical infrastructure projects while working alongside industry-leading professionals.

The Project Manager will be responsible for managing the full project lifecycle, ensuring successful execution through effective scheduling, cost management, quality assurance, safety compliance, and stakeholder communication. Develop, maintain, and manage detailed project schedules. Oversee all phases of construction to ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget. Identify, document, and manage project changes using formal change management processes.

Safety, Quality & Compliance Promote and enforce safety standards across all job site activities. Ensure quality through documentation, inspections, reporting, and adherence to project standards. Maintain compliance with applicable building codes, regulations, and construction best practices.

Financial & Contract Management Support project budgeting, forecasting, and cost tracking. Manage multiple contract delivery methods including Lump Sum, GMP, Cost Plus, Design-Build, and Time & Materials. Review vendor performance, approve invoices, and monitor project expenditures.

Stakeholder Communication Serve as the primary point of contact for internal teams, clients, subcontractors, and project leadership. Provide regular updates on project status, milestones, risks, and schedules. Prepare reports and presentations for project meetings and executive leadership.

Problem Solving & Continuous Improvement Identify risks early and implement effective mitigation strategies. Analyze project data to support informed decision-making. Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance project execution and operational efficiency.

Required Qualifications Strong understanding of construction safety practices and regulatory requirements. Experience with change management processes and documentation. Knowledge of construction accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.

Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software such as Bluebeam, Procore, Textura, or similar platforms.

Experience utilizing project data and analytics to support decision-making. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Minimum of 5 years of project management experience within the construction industry.

Experience managing data center, mission-critical, or structured cabling construction projects strongly preferred. Experience working under multiple contract delivery methods including GMP, Design-Build, Fixed Price, and Cost Plus. Preferred Certifications OSHA 30 BICSI RCDD BICSI RTPM PMP (Project Management Professional).
