Job description

Operations & Customer Success Coordinator

Columbus, OH (hybrid) Full-time

At Primum, weโ€™re on a mission to ensure every cancer patient receives the most informed and effective treatment possible. Community oncologists care for 80% of cancer patients and face constant challenges staying up to date with the latest oncology advances. Primum's platform connects them to expert advice and cutting-edge insights, empowering better treatment decisions and improving lives.

We are a fast-moving startup where every team member has outsized impact. If you thrive on solving problems, love details, and want to build something that mattersโ€”this is your chance.

About the Role

Weโ€™re looking for a smart, scrappy, detail-obsessed operator whoโ€™s excited to wear many hats and grow alongside a passionate team. In this role, youโ€™ll handle the day-to-day workflows that power our product, deliver exceptional service to our users (mostly oncologists), and help further build out a community of highly-engaged medical professionals.

This is not a narrowly defined corporate job. Youโ€™ll be juggling high-priority tasks, learning new tools on the fly, and finding clever ways to make everything run smoother. Youโ€™ll be supported and empowered, but also expected to take real ownership.

What Youโ€™ll Do
  • Execute essential workflows that arenโ€™t yet automated (onboarding users, tracking messages, managing incentive payments).
  • Spot inefficiencies and help improve them one step at a time.
  • Use tools like Google Sheets, Notion, Hubspot, or whatever helps us get things done faster and smarter.
Customer Success
  • Be the friendly face of Primum for our usersโ€”mostly clinicians and oncologists.
  • Answer questions, solve problems, and make sure every interaction feels like white-glove service.
  • Keep a close eye on payment processes and user issues so nothing falls through the cracks.
  • Reach out proactively to ensure users feel heard, valued, and supported.
Community & Communications
  • Run outbound emails and social media updates with a high level of polish and consistency.
  • Prep for and attend conferences to represent the team with pride.
  • Maintain our brand voice: warm, professional, and precise.
Relationship Building
  • Cultivate genuine connections with users through thoughtful emails and video chats.
  • Collect user feedback and insights to help guide our product development.
Who You Are
  • Earlier in your career and ready to stretch and grow in a fast-paced startup.
  • Obsessed with the detailsโ€”you catch what others miss and take pride in doing things thoroughly and thoughtfully.
  • Flexible and resourcefulโ€”you donโ€™t get stuck, you get creative.
  • Clear and kind communicatorโ€”whether itโ€™s a clinician or a colleague, you explain things well and always sound human.
  • Self-drivenโ€”you take initiative and own your work, even when thereโ€™s ambiguity.
  • Curiousโ€”you like learning new tools and trying new approaches.
  • Excited about healthcare and mission-driven workโ€”prior experience with clinicians is a plus, but not required.
  • A degree in a science-based area of study is a big plus, but whatโ€™s most important is that you thrive on learning and would be excited about mastering new technical concepts.
Why You Might Love This Role
  • You want to do life-changing work that matters for patients and doctors.
  • Youโ€™re looking for a startup experience where you can help shape something early.
  • You want to grow fast, wear lots of hats, and build a broad skill set.
  • You get a kick out of figuring things out, even if itโ€™s messy at first.
Details
  • Experience Level: 2โ€“5 years in operations, customer support, or related roles.
