Position Overview

Our client is a well-established and respected medical malpractice law firm seeking a Litigation Support Paralegal to join its legal team.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys organization, problem-solving, and being an essential part of the litigation process. Rather than supporting only one attorney, this role provides broad exposure to the firm's litigation practice while helping ensure cases move forward efficiently and deadlines are met.

The successful candidate will work closely with attorneys, paralegals, and other legal professionals to organize case information, process legal documents, maintain case files, and provide administrative and litigation support across the firm.

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities may include:

  • Processing and organizing legal documents and court filings
  • Maintaining electronic case files
  • Tracking and calendaring litigation deadlines
  • Assisting with document management and file organization
  • Processing incoming legal correspondence and court notices
  • Coordinating medical records and other case-related documents
  • Assisting attorneys and paralegals with litigation support as needed
  • Supporting day-to-day administrative functions that keep cases moving efficiently

Ideal Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous paralegal or legal support experience preferred
  • Paralegal education or certification is a plus
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • A positive, team-oriented attitude
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new technology
  • Candidates with transferable administrative or legal support experience who demonstrate strong organizational skills and a desire to learn are also encouraged to apply.

Why Consider This Opportunity?

This position offers the opportunity to join a collaborative, team-focused law firm where employees are valued and supported. The firm provides comprehensive training, opportunities for professional growth, and exposure to all aspects of litigation.

Additional benefits include:

  • Competitive compensation
  • Free covered downtown parking
  • Paid overtime
  • Flexible scheduling when personal needs arise
  • Professional development support
  • Collaborative and supportive culture
  • Opportunities for long-term career advancement

Ready to Take the Next Step?

If you're passionate about joining a highly respected legal team, thrive in a fast-paced office environment, and are looking for a role where your attention to detail truly matters — this opportunity is for you.
