Job description

Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Location: Columbus, OH (Relocation Assistance Available)
Compensation: $250,000 - $350,000 Base Salary + Bonus

A leading physician-owned, physician-led healthcare organization is seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer to join its executive leadership team. This high-visibility role will serve as a strategic partner to physicians, executive leadership, and the Board while driving financial performance, operational excellence, and long-term growth initiatives.

This is a unique opportunity to influence the future of a well-established healthcare organization and play a key role in revenue diversification, organizational strategy, and leadership succession planning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic financial leadership across the organization.
  • Partner with executive leadership and physician stakeholders on growth initiatives and operational strategy.
  • Oversee all finance, accounting, budgeting, forecasting, treasury, and financial planning functions.
  • Lead and optimize a large-scale, in-house revenue cycle operation.
  • Deliver actionable financial insights to support organizational decision-making.
  • Present financial performance, opportunities, and risks to senior leadership and the Board.
  • Develop and execute strategies to improve profitability, efficiency, and long-term sustainability.
Required Qualifications
  • Executive-level finance leadership experience within a physician-owned, physician-led healthcare organization, preferably a large integrated medical group.
  • Demonstrated success leading large-scale in-house revenue cycle management operations.
  • Strong experience partnering with physicians, Boards, and executive leadership teams.
  • Proven ability to drive financial performance and organizational growth.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
