Job description

The WellSpring Community Mental Health Director will be responsible for launching and leading a community-based team that provides high-quality, spiritually integrated behavioral health services. This role combines leadership, compliance oversight, staff supervision, and community engagement — all within the context of a faith-driven mission.
You will work closely with clinical and administrative leadership to establish sustainable systems, uphold accreditation standards, and build meaningful partnerships in Central Ohio. If you're passionate about blending clinical excellence with a Christ-centered calling, we encourage you to apply.
Must have MSW, LISW, supervisory designation preferred.

Key Responsibilities
Program Development
  • Launch and stabilize the WellSpring Community Outreach (WSCO) program
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Foster a positive, accountable, and Christ-centered team culture
Compliance amp; Documentation
  • Ensure adherence to CARF and OHMAS standards
  • Oversee clinical documentation (intake, treatment plans, progress notes, etc.)
  • Audit records for accuracy and completeness
  • Prepare for accreditation surveys, site visits, and audits
Staff Leadership
  • Recruit, onboard, train, and supervise clinical and support staff
  • Provide required clinical supervision under OMHAS, OAC, and ministry guidelines
  • Monitor staff productivity, billing practices, and service delivery
Community Engagement
  • Build and maintain relationships with schools, courts, and community partners
  • Grow client referrals and represent WSCO at networking events
  • Support marketing and outreach efforts with the COYFC Development team
Spiritual Leadership
  • Lead staff in prayer, Bible study, and spiritual formation
  • Represent COYFC’s Christian mission and values in all aspects of your work
  • Guide team members in seeking God’s wisdom through prayer and discernment
  • Provide biblical encouragement and mentorship to staff, volunteers, and clients
