Job description

Mechanical Engineering Intern - Liquid Cooling Systems

We are looking for a Mechanical Engineering Intern to support engineering activities related to liquid cooling systems for data center applications, including Secondary Fluid Networks (SFN), Coolant Distribution Units (CDUs), and associated mechanical/piping systems.

Preferred background:

  • Currently pursuing a final-year degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • Basic understanding or interest in fluid mechanics, heat transfer, piping, HVAC, or thermal systems.
  • Exposure to CAD tools such as Creo, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar is preferred.
  • Interest in data center cooling, liquid cooling, mechanical system design, or product development.
  • Good problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.

Typical responsibilities:

  • Support SFN, CDU, and related mechanical design activities.
  • Assist with CAD layouts, drawings, BOMs, and engineering documentation.
  • Support component selection, technical research, testing, and prototype builds.
  • Assist with supplier coordination and cross-functional engineering activities.
  • Support product development and continuous improvement projects.

Relevant coursework, projects, internships, or lab experience in fluid systems, thermal systems, piping, HVAC, or mechanical design would be beneficial.
