What You'll Do
  • Provide specialized nursing care in a Medical ICU setting, focusing on multisystem organ failure, respiratory failure, COVID, sepsis, post-cardiac arrest, DKA, liver failure, and renal failure
  • Monitor and operate ventilators, telemetry, and IV pumps, including NxStage CRRT, Alaris IV pump, and GE cardiac monitors
  • Perform special procedures such as continuous glucose monitoring and managing externalized IV lines for COVID+ patients
  • Document patient data accurately in EPIC system
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Maintain proficiency with specialized equipment and procedures in a high-acuity environment
What You Need Required:
  • Valid Ohio RN license
  • Minimum 2 years of ICU experience in a Medical ICU setting
  • EPIC electronic health record system experience
  • Current certifications: BCLS, ACLS, NIHSS, AHA certifications
Preferred:
  • Previous travel nursing experience
  • Proficiency with ventilators and telemetry monitoring

The unit features specialized procedures such as continuous glucose monitoring and external IV pumps for COVID+ patients, utilizing advanced equipment including GE ventilators and NxStage CRRT.
