What You'll Do
- Provide specialized nursing care in a Medical ICU setting, focusing on multisystem organ failure, respiratory failure, COVID, sepsis, post-cardiac arrest, DKA, liver failure, and renal failure
- Monitor and operate ventilators, telemetry, and IV pumps, including NxStage CRRT, Alaris IV pump, and GE cardiac monitors
- Perform special procedures such as continuous glucose monitoring and managing externalized IV lines for COVID+ patients
- Document patient data accurately in EPIC system
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain proficiency with specialized equipment and procedures in a high-acuity environment
What You Need
Required:
- Valid Ohio RN license
- Minimum 2 years of ICU experience in a Medical ICU setting
- EPIC electronic health record system experience
- Current certifications: BCLS, ACLS, NIHSS, AHA certifications
Preferred:
- Previous travel nursing experience
- Proficiency with ventilators and telemetry monitoring
