Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 22 months of Critical Care Float Pool experience.

• Travel experience is required.

• Experience with Epic is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Ohio license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <60 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• 6 months gap required between for Any Contract Type at Program: Aya Program - Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center and no current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center.

Additional Details:

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years. You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Required Skills/Experience: Teaching hospital experience required. IV start. Telemetry. Ventilator management experience.

Required Credentials: Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program.

Special Requests: Cannot apply to any Ohio State University facilities if you have an active application to any of the James Cancer Hospital & Research facilities.

Unit Details: Adult patient population. Transplants: kidney, liver, lung, and heart.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend.

Floating Requirements: Float pool assignment across Neuro ICU, Surgical ICUs, Medical ICUs (MICU x2), Cardiology/Diagnostics, CVICU, and SICU / MICU / NCCU based on staffing and patient acuity. Nurses are required to float within units of equivalent or lower acuity. Will be required to float to different units within the OSU organization as needed.

14 days maximum time off. Start assignment restriction: 7 days

1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 2 years

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 2 years

Proof of identification required
