Role

Onsite ServiceNow Architect – Upper Arlington, Ohio. Work onsite 5 days a week. Lead the technical design and execution of enterprise‑wide solutions for a high‑profile public sector client, ensuring scalability, security and compliance within a FedRAMP‑authorized environment.

Eligibility: Government client. Only U.S. citizens or green card holders may apply.

Key Responsibilities
  • Architect technical strategy for the ServiceNow platform, ensuring alignment with the Common Service Data Model (CSDM) and industry best practices to minimize technical debt.
  • Design and develop custom scoped applications, complex business rules, script includes, UI actions and client scripts using JavaScript and Glide APIs.
  • Implement and maintain FedRAMP compliance, including advanced ACL configurations, data encryption and secure coding standards.
  • Lead integration and automation design with third‑party systems using IntegrationHub, Flow Designer, MID Servers and REST/SOAP APIs.
  • Establish platform governance, develop standards, conduct code reviews and ensure platform health, performance and upgradeability.
  • Collaborate with the Engagement Lead and business stakeholders to translate functional requirements into high‑level design documents and technical specifications.
Required Experience

• 5+ years in IT with at least 5 years of deep technical experience in ServiceNow development and architecture.
• Expert proficiency in JavaScript, HTML/CSS and ServiceNow development tools (Studio, UI Builder, Service Portal).
• Proven track record of working within FedRAMP or similarly regulated government cloud environments.
• Strong understanding of Configuration Management (CMDB) and IT Operations Management (Discovery, Service Mapping) in a public sector context.
• Ability to work onsite in Upper Arlington, Ohio and lead technical work sessions with diverse stakeholders.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or green card holder.

  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)
  • ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) – ITSM or ITOM preferred
  • ITIL v4 Foundations
Preferred Certifications
  • ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect (CTA) or Master Architect (CMA)
  • Security+ or similar cybersecurity certification
Compensation & Benefits

• U.S. base salary range: $115,080 to $218,520 (full‑time). Location specific ranges: San Francisco Bay Area $138,120–$262,320; California (Other) $126,600–$240,480; Colorado $115,080–$218,520; Massachusetts $115,080–$240,480; New York City $138,120–$262,320; Washington $126,600–$240,480; Washington D.C. $126,600–$240,480.
