Food and Beverage Supervisor

Reports to: Food & Beverage Manager, Community Center General Manager

Classification: Non-Exempt

Job Type: Full Time, Seasonal (May 1st - September 7th)

Location: Jerome Village Date: 3.2.26

Job Summary:

The Food & Beverage Supervisor assists in creating memorable dining and event experiences for our guests. This role is responsible for event coordination and execution, training and supervision of F&B team members, and assists in ensuring product quality and service standards are met.

Essential Functions:

  • Supervises front of the house operations, delegating and assigning duties and responsibilities to staff members and monitoring their performance to ensure the accurate and timely service, superior levels of performance and dependable and friendly service to external and internal clients.
  • Assists with social media page content to promote special events.
  • Assists with the execution and supervision of special events.
  • Works alongside team members in multiple roles providing support and guidance as necessary.
  • Maintains daily cleaning and deep cleaning schedule.
  • Assist in implementing training programs to enhance team members skills and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Assists management with weekly, monthly, and quarterly inventory.
  • Ensures the department creates a professional impression to customers and team members.
  • Addresses customer complaints and feedback with professionalism, taking immediate action to resolve any issues and improve the dining experience.
  • Leads in absence of General Manager.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by management.

  • Ability to working in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work in extreme temperatures and high-pressure environments
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Ability to lift/pull up to 25 lbs. regularly and up to 55 lbs. occasionally
  • Requires manual dexterity for equipment operation and the ability to perform repetitive motions, bending, climbing, and lifting
  • Must possess full range of vision, hearing, and communication abilities

Qualifications, Education, Experience, Skills, and Abilities:

  • POS System experience preferred
  • Knowledge of the proper etiquette and service standards.
  • Basic math skills.
  • High school diploma and prior experience working in customer service.
  • English language and professional communications skills are required.
  • Ability to take and give direction.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure.
  • Must have problem solving abilities, be self-motivated and organized.
  • Commitment to quality service, food and beverage knowledge.
  • Knowledge of Private Events.
