Job Title:Research Senior TechnicianDepartment:Arts and Sciences | Psychology

The Research Senior Technician will organize and conduct research experiments within the Model-Based Cognitive Neuroscience Lab. The position will program experiments; recruit and schedule younger and older adult participants; conduct research sessions; process participant payments and manage a cash account; and coordinate these activities with the PI and other lab personnel. Many experiments will involve eye-tracking technology. The Research Senior Technician will complete training in this methodology and subsequently assist with training additional lab personnel.

Minimum Education Required

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Required Qualifications

Relevant experience as demonstrated by one of the following:

oNo prior experience required with a Bachelor's degree

oTwo (2) years of relevant experience with an Associate's degree

oFour (4) years of relevant experience with a High School diploma

Ability to independently coordinate and complete routine research activities using established processes, tools, and procedures, including recognizing and resolving routine issues and escalating complex matters as appropriate.

Additional Information:

The pay range for this job profile is $19.28 - $25.19. The offer for this position will fall within this range based on internal equity, the unit's available budget, and the candidate's qualifications.
