The Opportunity:

Weโ€™re actively hiring Construction Inspectors of all levels, from entry-level to senior level, to join our Columbus or Cincinnati office and support a variety of infrastructure projects throughout Ohio. If you're passionate about the built environment and enjoy being out in the field, weโ€™d love to hear from you.

What Youโ€™ll Do:

Youโ€™ll play a key role in monitoring and inspecting public infrastructure projects including roads, bridges, water and sewer systems, and utilities. This is a field-based position requiring attention to detail, communication with stakeholders, and a strong understanding of construction practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect earthwork, concrete, drainage, asphalt, structural elements, utilities, and materials on active job sites.
  • Perform field measurements, calculations, documentation, and related technical/engineering support.
  • Conduct or assist with material testing in the field or lab, including verification and acceptance testing.
  • Communicate with contractors, engineers, clients, and other stakeholders as needed.
  • Assist with project documentation and reporting.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

What Youโ€™ll Bring:

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in construction inspection or construction material testing.
  • A valid driversโ€™ license.
  • Basic knowledge of construction specifications and processes.
  • Preferred, not required certifications: (all required certification and recertifications will be fully paid by PRIME)
    • ODOT Certifications
    • NICET
    • Asphalt
    • American Concrete Institute (ACI) concrete field testing, etc. are preferred.
