JOB TITLE: Aerospace Systems Technician (Entry Level) - DEFENSE
LOCATION: Heath, OH
PAY RATE: $29/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Details:

Qualifying Questions:

  • Are you a U.S. person as defined under ITAR regulations?

Summary: 

  • Assist with disassembly of system components to support failure correction or engineering changes

  • Perform basic troubleshooting of pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems to identify mechanical or electrical faults

  • Repair or replace faulty components as directed

  • Perform validation and verification testing of systems and components

  • Fabricate and modify aerospace products according to engineering specifications

  • Assist with safe handling of aerospace vehicles, including:

    • Jacking

    • Towing

    • Basic system operations

  • Follow technical instructions, safety procedures, and quality standards

  • Work collaboratively with engineering and production teams

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Ability to obtain a security clearance after start

  • Ability to work off-shift schedules (2nd or 3rd shift)

  • 1+ year of experience working with tools and following work instructions

  • Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office applications

  • Willingness to work with beryllium and/or other chemicals if required

  • Aerospace production or laboratory environment

  • May involve working with specialized equipment, chemicals, and precision tools

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience inspecting parts, components, assemblies, or units

  • 1+ year of soldering and assembly experience for equipment components

  • 1+ year of experience using handheld and power tools

  • Ability to read and interpret basic engineering drawings and specifications

  • 1+ year of experience working under a microscope
