Job description

Our client, a leader in electric & gas utilities, is seeking a Physical Security Systems Analyst to support its Enterprise Physical Security team in Columbus, Ohio.


You will focus on data management, reporting, compliance support, documentation, and project coordination within the organization’s physical security operations.


**This is a 1-year W2 contract with benefits**


Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update physical security records, databases, inventories, and tracking systems
  • Perform data entry, validation, and quality assurance to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies
  • Support badge access reviews, compliance audits, and governance activities
  • Generate reports, metrics, and dashboards using Microsoft Excel and Microsoft 365 tools
  • Assist with SharePoint administration, document management, and records maintenance
  • Support project tracking, status reporting, action items, and inventory management
  • Maintain security-related procedures, documentation, and audit-ready records
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives focused on efficiency and data quality


Required Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Criminal Justice, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Data Analytics, or a related field
  • 0–2 years of professional experience, including relevant internship experience
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint
  • Interest in developing a career in physical security, compliance, technology, or corporate security operations
