Job description

Position

Overhaul Carriers Ltd. CDL Class A Local Home Daily for Experienced Truck Drivers

Compensation: $1575 to $1700 per week, $10,000 sign on bonus

Home Daily:

  • Schedule: Tuesday to Saturday
  • Start time window: 1800-2300
  • 10 - 12-hour day - Drivers could work a 12-hour day. The fleet average is 10 hours.
  • Night driving

Operating Area: Drivers on this local job will operate in a 300-mile radius of Waterford, NY

Miles per week: 1200. Hazmat and Tanker endorsement.

Duties: Complete pre trip and post trip inspections and deliver freight on time.

Requirements:

  • Minimum age of 21, Valid CDL Class A license.
  • Clean motor vehicle record and background checks.
  • Ability to pass a DOT drug screen, Urine Test.
  • Moving Violation: No more than 2 in the last 3 years.
  • Accident: No more than 3 minor accidents/incidents in the past 3 years.
  • Tickets: No more than 3 accidents and/or tickets. No more than one preventable with less than 12 months of experience.
  • Felonies: All criminal convictions are reviewed on an individual basis as part of an overall review of the file. Felony drug charges must be outside of 7 years.
  • Misdemeanors: All criminal convictions are reviewed on an individual basis as part of an overall review of the file.
  • DUI/DWI: No more than 1 and it must be outside of 5 years old. If Driver has 2 DUI's, they will be considered if both are prior to 2002. Drivers with a DUI/DWI in a CMV may be considered for employment with appropriate SAP paperwork.
