Administrative Assistant - Comprehensive Cancer Center

Serves as an Administrative Assistant to Associate Director, Division of Population Sciences and Community Outreach in the Comprehensive Cancer Center, as well as supporting Faculty members in Division of Cancer Prevention and Control; performs complex administrative support tasks related to drafting of correspondence, grant and research support, and budgets; serves as liaison and primary point of contact with the Division of Population Sciences; independently responds to and produces high level correspondence, including information about programs; maintains Associate Director's calendar and schedules meetings; composes, organizes and produces materials for grant proposals, budgets, conferences, textbook or journal preparation and other presentations; performs special projects; creates and maintains complex and confidential records and correspondence; assumes responsibility for financial activity related to tracking accounts and producing financial reports; coordinates and manages arrangements for conferences and meetings; prepares class schedules; prepares complex travel requests; performs library searches to assist faculty and support program goals; disseminates directives and information.

Job Requirements High School diploma or GED. Certification or vocational training may be required. Associate degree in relevant field may be preferred. 2 years of relevant experience required. 4-6 years of relevant experience preferred.
