PRIDE Health is seeking a travel CVOR Technologist for a travel job in Columbus, Ohio.

Ready to take your CVOR expertise to a premier Level I Trauma Center? We're seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist (CVOR) to join a highly specialized cardiovascular surgical team. First-time travelers and local candidates are welcome to apply!

Schedule
  • Night Shift: 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM
  • 3x12-hour shifts
  • Weekend coverage required
  • On-call rotation required
  • 13-week travel assignment

Responsibilities

As a CVOR Surgical Technologist, you will:

  • Scrub complex cardiovascular and vascular procedures
  • Prepare and maintain a sterile surgical field
  • Assist surgeons during open heart and vascular surgeries
  • Set up and manage specialized surgical instrumentation and equipment
  • Perform cardiovascular and thoracic instrument reprocessing
  • Accurately document equipment and surgical cases in Epic
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary cardiovascular surgical team
Required Experience
  • Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)
  • Minimum 5 years of CST experience
  • At least 2 years of Cardiac & Vascular experience
  • Minimum 1 year of dedicated CVOR experience
  • Level I Trauma experience required
  • Experience with cardiovascular/thoracic instrument reprocessing
  • Scrub experience required
  • BLS Certification
Required Surgical Experience

Candidates must have experience scrubbing procedures such as:

  • Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting (CABG)
  • Valve replacements
  • EVAR (Endovascular Aneurysm Repair)
  • TEVAR (Thoracic Endovascular Aortic Repair)
  • TAVR
  • Vascular bypass procedures
  • Thoracic and open-heart surgeries
  • Hybrid OR cases
Preferred Skills
  • General OR experience
  • Cardiovascular and thoracic surgery
  • Aseptic technique
  • Crash cart and emergency equipment
  • Epic charting experience
  • Equipment documentation
