About the Role

We are seeking a Controls Engineering Supervisor to lead automation and controls initiatives within a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for overseeing controls engineering projects, supporting production systems, and driving continuous improvement in automation and system performance.

The ideal candidate will have 7–10+ years of controls engineering experience, including leadership or supervisory experience in a manufacturing setting.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise the controls engineering team

  • Design, develop, and troubleshoot PLC/HMI/SCADA systems

  • Support production equipment, automation systems, and process improvements

  • Oversee installation, commissioning, and upgrades of control systems

  • Collaborate with maintenance, production, and engineering teams

  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards

  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and technical deliverables

  • Provide technical guidance, training, and mentorship to team members


Qualifications

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field (or equivalent experience)

  • 7–10+ years of controls engineering experience

  • Prior supervisory or team leadership experience

  • Strong knowledge of PLCs (Allen-Bradley, Siemens), HMIs, and SCADA systems

  • Experience in manufacturing or industrial automation environment

  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills

  • Ability to work onsite in a fast-paced environment
