Description
Position Summary:
The River City Grille Server is responsible for providing guests with an exceptional dining experience by delivering prompt, courteous, and knowledgeable food and beverage service in a hotel restaurant setting. This role ensures guest satisfaction through attention to detail, timely service, and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet guests promptly and warmly, escort them to tables when necessary.
  • Present menus, answer questions about menu items, and offer recommendations.
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen and bar.
  • Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction with food and service.
  • Process guest payments accurately (cash, credit, room charge).
  • Set up, clean, and reset tables according to restaurant standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas.
  • Adhere to hotel and restaurant policies, health and safety regulations, and sanitation standards.
  • Communicate effectively with kitchen and other team members.
  • Running food for room service.
  • Upsell menu items and promote hotel services when appropriate.
  • Handle guest complaints or concerns with professionalism or escalate to supervisor as needed.

Requirements
