Requirements
- State of Ohio licensed radiation therapist
- ARRT certification
- CPR certification
- Minimum of 1-2 years of radiation therapy experience preferred
- Associate's degree in radiography with a certification in radiation therapy; Bachelor's degree in radiation therapy preferred
Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver prescribed radiation therapy using established practices and standards.
- Obtain patient history, address patient inquiries, and explain treatment procedures.
- Follow safety and quality control standards, reporting any unsafe conditions.
- Schedule patient treatments and collaborate with healthcare team for comprehensive care.
- Ensure accurate treatment by verifying patient identity and treatment plans.
- Prepare and document patient care records, including treatment plans and progress reports.
