What Application Development & Maintenance contributes to Cardinal Health Information Technology oversees the effective development, delivery, and operation of computing and information services. This function anticipates, plans, and delivers Information Technology solutions and strategies that enable operations and drive business value. Application Development & Maintenance performs configuration or coding to develop, enhance and sustain the organization's software systems in a cross-functional team environment through adherence to established design control processes and good engineering practices.

This job family programs and configures end user applications, systems, databases and websites to achieve the organization's internal needs and externally-facing business needs. Application Development & Maintenance partners with business leaders, investigates user needs and conducts regular assessments, maintenance and enhancements of existing applications. Cardinal Health is seeking a Manager, Warehouse Management Solutions (WMS) to lead the development and delivery of WMS supporting the projects within the multi-year strategic initiative called Program Motion.

This delivery-focused leadership role will oversee solution delivery, vendor management, and team development for warehouse management solutions. Responsibilities Lead endtoend delivery of MAWM configuration, extensions, testing, deployment, and hypercare across new and existing DCs. Manage a team of Business Analysts and TechnoFunctional Engineers, ensuring quality, prioritization, and delivery excellence.

Partner closely with Manhattan Associates on solution design, configuration standards, extensions, and defect resolution. Translate business/operational needs into actionable configuration, test plans, rollout schedules, and cutover readiness. Support functional/integration testing across MAWM, SAP, Automation/WCS/WES, and Enterprise Systems.

Ensure compliance with enterprise architecture, security, data governance, and audit requirements. Collaborate with Operations, Product, and Program teams to ensure MAWM capabilities meet DC operational goals. Successful MAWM configuration, testing, and rollout for targeted distribution centers.

High-quality functional, integration, and regression testing with complete system coverage. On-time, on-budget MAWM deployments with strong hypercare and clean transition to Run teams. Standardized MAWM delivery artifacts, templates, and reusable functional assets.

Strong alignment and governance with Manhattan Associates and internal architecture teams. Audit-ready documentation, observability readiness, and proactive monitoring via Splunk/BigPanda/ServiceNow. What is expected of you and others at this level Manages department operations and supervises professional employees, front line supervisors and/or business support staff Participates in the development of policies and procedures to achieve specific goals Ensures employees operate within guidelines Decisions have a short term impact on work processes, outcomes and customers Interacts with subordinates, peers, customers, and suppliers at various management levels; may interact with senior management Interactions normally involve resolution of issues related to operations and/or projects Gains consensus from various parties involved Qualifications Bachelor's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred 10+ years in IT delivery, including large transformation program experience preferred IT delivery in WMS, ideally Manhattan Active WMS or Manhattan WMOS preferred Hands-on leadership experience with testing support, and with deployments, hypercare and transition to run.

Proven ability leading teams of BAs, techno-functional engineers, and vendor/offshore resources. Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile delivery, integration patterns, and modern enterprise architecture. Experience integrating with SAP, WCS/WES, automation systems, or enterprise applications.

Familiarity with Splunk, BigPanda, ServiceNow, and use of AI/automation tools to enhance productivity and delivery.
