Job description

TITLE: Technical Assistant - Misc. Pay Rate (Internal Only)
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent;
2. Training and experience in computer science
3. Ability to work cooperatively with others and maintain professional attitude;
4. Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally & in writing;
5. Ability to problem solve, collect data, establish facts and draw conclusions.
6. Demonstrate conscientiousness and responsibility for own work.
7. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable
REPORTS TO: Director of Technology
JOB GOAL: To provide technical support and assist is installation and repair of equipment and software.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Complete assigned building service request
2. Complete routine maintenance in the computers and peripherals.
3. Perform basic software instruction to staff members
4. Research new technologies.
5. Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Technology.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
Summer 2025 - Summer Help Pay $18.50 per hour
EVALUATION:
Performance of this job is evaluated in accordance with provisions of the Board's policy on Evaluation of Professional Personnel.
ADDITIONAL WORKING CONDITIONS:































  • Occasional exposure to blood, bodily fluids and tissue.
  • Excellent observation and communication skills
  • May perform strenuous tasks, such as lifting, when working with students.
  • Assisting students with behavioral/management needs
  • Frequent evening and/or weekend work
