Accounts Payable Assistant
Oil and Gas
$20.00 - $24.00 per hour DOE
Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm
Columbus, Ohio (onsite)

What You’ll Do:
  • Process vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner, verifying pricing, quantities, and approvals to ensure compliance with internal policies
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date vendor records, including contracts, contact details, and payment information
  • Conduct research on new vendors and support onboarding activities by collecting required documentation and coordinating setup
  • Communicate with vendors to address invoice discrepancies, payment inquiries, and account-related questions
  • Partner with operations teams to resolve vendor-related issues and support smooth day-to-day workflows
  • Provide general administrative support, including data entry, filing, and assistance with routine operational tasks
What We’re Looking For:
  • Four or more years of accounts payable experience or equivalent work involving data entry, data analysis, and/or accounting functions
  • High school diploma or GED required; additional coursework or training in accounting or finance is a plus
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to review, interpret, and validate numerical data accurately
  • Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Excel and Word, for data entry, reporting, and documentation
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume work setting while meeting deadlines
