Job description

The Superintendent will oversee day-to-day construction operations, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. Reporting directly to project managers, this role is pivotal in coordinating teams, maintaining safety protocols, and driving successful outcomes in the construction industry. Client Details A well-established commercial general contractor with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality construction projects across multiple market sectors. With decades of industry experience, they have built lasting relationships with repeat clients by fostering a collaborative culture, investing in their employees, and maintaining a commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence. Description Manage all on-site construction activities from project start through completion. Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel. Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within quality standards. Maintain project schedules and proactively address field challenges. Conduct daily site inspections and safety meetings. Coordinate inspections and maintain compliance with local building codes. Communicate project progress with project managers and stakeholders. Maintain accurate daily reports and project documentation. Profile Experience as a Superintendent with a commercial general contractor. Demonstrated experience managing retail construction projects (ground-up and/or renovations). Strong understanding of construction scheduling, sequencing, and quality control. Knowledge of OSHA regulations and commitment to jobsite safety. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
