Commercial Construction Project Manager

Gillmann Services | Columbus, OH | Full-Time | $105,000–$135,000/year

Job Overview

Gillmann Services is hiring an experienced Commercial Construction Project Manager in Columbus, Ohio.

We are looking for a strong Project Manager with 5+ years of commercial construction experience who can manage projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate has experience managing commercial construction projects ranging from $1 million to $20 million.

Pay

$105,000–$135,000 per year, based on experience.

What You Will Do

  • Manage commercial construction projects from startup through completion.
  • Handle project setup, scheduling, budgeting, cost control, documentation, and closeout.
  • Lead and coordinate project teams, including Superintendents, Project Engineers, subcontractors, and trade partners.
  • Manage project budgets and make sure costs stay under control.
  • Monitor project schedules, manpower, materials, and productivity.
  • Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors.
  • Review project plans, specifications, contracts, and schedules.
  • Identify and resolve project issues before they become problems.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and records.
  • Help ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
  • Build and maintain strong professional relationships with customers and trade partners.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of commercial construction project management experience.
  • Experience managing commercial construction projects valued at $1M–$20M.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of commercial construction.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience managing subcontractors and project teams.
  • Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, or similar construction software.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Excel.
