Description

American Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab / EP Radiologic Technologist with ARRT certification and 2+ years of cath lab experience for a hospital-based cardiology role.

Details
  • 110-bed hospital setting in the Cath Lab department
  • Procedures include cardiac catheterization, vascular interventional radiology (VIR), and potential neuro and EP cases
  • 4x10 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
  • Every other holiday required
  • Weekend and weekday call required
  • Travelers are first to float
  • EPIC charting system used
Requirements
  • ARRT certification required
  • ODH Ohio Radiologic License required if applicable
  • BLS and ACLS certification required
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience required
  • Graduate of an accredited radiography program
  • Cath Lab and IR experience required
  • Vascular IR technologist experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy, exposure, positioning, physics, radiation protection, and medical terminology required
  • Competent in scrubbing, monitoring, and circulating during procedures
Additional Information
  • Serve as assistant to the Interventional Cardiologist for diagnostic and interventional cath lab procedures
  • May assist Interventional Radiologist for minimally invasive, image-guided vascular procedures using fluoroscopy, CT, and ultrasound
  • Knowledge of hemodynamic monitoring, coronary and peripheral anatomy, and sterile technique required
  • Free parking available in any unrestricted space with no pass required
  • Maximum of 10 days RTO per contract, with no RTO allowed during the initial weeks of the assignment
  • Local candidates accepted at a reduced bill rate
  • Permanent address must be greater than 50 miles from the most central facility to qualify for standard travel rate
  • Returning staff must have a 366-day separation from prior employment with the facility before accepting a travel assignment
  • More than one call-off may result in termination, and a no call/no show results in immediate termination
  • Every other weekend and every other holiday coverage required
