Carrier Development Manager

We are seeking a relationship-driven, strategic Carrier Development Manager to strengthen carrier partnerships, improve network performance, and support long-term growth. This role serves as the bridge between carriers, operations, and sales while developing a preferred carrier network that drives service excellence and profitability. 

What You Will Do 

  • Build and maintain relationships with core and high-volume carrier partners. 

  • Conduct regular touchpoints, quarterly business reviews, and annual in-person meetings. 

  • Understand carrier networks, capacity, strategic lanes, and growth objectives. 

  • Serve as the primary liaison between carriers, operations, and sales teams. 

  • Provide carrier scorecards and actionable performance feedback. 

  • Partner with operations to align freight opportunities with carrier networks. 

  • Monitor service issues and proactively resolve carrier concerns. 

  • Recruit new carriers through outreach, referrals, industry events, and market expansion initiatives. 

  • Oversee carrier onboarding to ensure readiness and compliance.
