As our organization continues to grow, we are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Billing amp; Compliance Coordinator to help ensure accurate billing, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence across our services.

Key Responsibilities:

As the Billing amp; Compliance Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing Medicaid waiver billing processes, monitoring compliance with DODD and agency requirements, conducting audits, and working collaboratively with Program Coordinators and leadership to ensure accurate documentation and service delivery.

Responsibilities include:

  • Process and audit Medicaid waiver billing for accuracy and completeness.
  • Monitor billing trends and identify discrepancies before claims are submitted.
  • Review documentation to ensure services meet DODD, Medicaid, and agency requirements.
  • Conduct routine compliance audits of service documentation, billing records, and employee files.
  • Assist with preparing for county, state, and internal audits.
  • Monitor authorizations and ensure services are billed appropriately.
  • Work closely with Program Coordinators to resolve documentation and billing issues.
  • Track compliance deadlines, certifications, and required documentation.
  • Maintain accurate billing and compliance records.
  • Assist with developing and updating agency policies, procedures, and compliance tools.
  • Identify opportunities to improve billing efficiency and operational processes.
  • Support leadership with reports, data analysis, and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Perform other administrative and compliance-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Experience with DODD billing and Medicaid waiver billing required.
  • Knowledge of DODD regulations and Medicaid waiver services is preferred but not required.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Valid Ohio driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
