The Battery Technician Lithium Line is responsible for performing various tasks to set up and operate equipment in order to complete process of recycling lithium batteries while ensuring the machine produces high quality products, runs smoothly and at capacity and is properly maintained. We believe in employee development and will provide opportunities for training and growth.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensures Health & Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and always acting in a safe manner.
  • Daily set up of equipment for operation
  • Operate equipment according to SOPs.
  • Maintain and clean filter press.
  • Make adjustments to equipment when necessary to improve performance.
  • Operating a forklift to move finished product.
  • Comply with all environmental, health and safety regulations.
  • Clean equipment and maintain cleanliness in work area.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Frequently lift 10-40 pounds individually, and over 40 pounds with a team member.
  • Forklift experience.
  • Knowledge of machinery and tools
  • Understanding of operating procedures
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Teamwork and communication skills

EDUCATION AND TRAINING REQUIREMENTS

  • High School Diploma or GED
