We are currently looking for a Sales Associate for this location. The perfect Sales Associate will be committed to our Customer Service Vision and will foster strong relationships with an outgoing, knowledgeable, and helpful personality. He or she will be enthusiastic about our products and services while on and off the clock and will drive sales on a daily basis. Sales Associates are responsible for selling products in our retail stores and for installing all types of batteries for customers, including watch/key fob and car batteries. In addition, he or she is responsible for maintaining a clean, comfortable, and inviting environment for our customers at all times.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Whole-heartedly commits to our Customer Service Vision and strives to go the extra mile and create customers for life
  • Provides fast, friendly service and actively engages customers, offering a friendly greeting and smile and making eye contact
  • Discusses available options with customers, asking questions to determine needs and showing interest in the customer
  • Gains and maintains knowledge about all products in order to describe the features and benefits, answer questions, and suggest related items
  • Installs all types of batteries for customers, such as car batteries, watch and key fob, etc.
  • Understands and communicates all store policies and promotions to customers
  • Remains calm during periods of high volume and provides excellent service to all customers
  • Maintains and promotes a clean, safe, and inviting store environment at all times
  • Contributes to the inventory management process
  • Interacts and communicates professionally with commercial customers
  • Maintains a neat and clean appearance and follows company dress code policy at all times
  • Understands and follows all operational policies and procedures relating to cash handling, safety and security, and other store related matters
  • Exhibits a commitment to punctual and regular attendance for all assigned shifts
  • Contributes positively to a team environment
  • Attends all staff meetings, trainings, and educational classes as required
  • May be required to pick up/deliver products in the local area
  • Performs other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • At least one year of sales experience preferred
  • Knowledge of and experience installing batteries a plus!
  • Must be willing to learn and acquire the skills necessary for the job

  • Neat and clean appearance
  • Superior relationship building and customer service skills
