Job description

Role overview

You’ll support daily warehouse operations by managing inventory accuracy, receiving and storing products, preparing shipments, assisting with packouts, and keeping the warehouse clean, organized, and safe.

Warehouse responsibilities

  • Conduct inventory counts for shipping materials such as envelopes, bubble bags, shipping labels, and printer paper.
  • Work with warehouse leadership to ensure supply levels support forecasted orders.
  • Receive, inspect, and store products as they arrive in the warehouse.
  • Prepare orders for shipment.
  • Assist with product packouts.
  • Prepare, pull, and cart ice packs for seasonal shipping requirements.
  • Manage trash bins and bail discarded cardboard.
  • Organize stock and keep workspaces free of hazards.
  • Support timely and accurate order fulfillment.

What you’ll need

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong attention to detail for inventory counts and order picking.
  • Basic math skills for inventory, order preparation, and shipping tasks.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and take direction from supervisors.
  • Ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
  • Knowledge of warehouse safety protocols and commitment to a safe work environment.
  • Previous warehouse or logistics experience preferred.
  • Experience with warehouse management systems or basic inventory software preferred.
  • Experience with pallet jacks, forklifts, hand trucks, or cardboard bailers is a plus.

Physical and warehouse conditions

  • Ability to lift, carry, and move products up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand or walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to operate equipment and machinery such as pallet jacks, hand trucks, cardboard bailers, and forklifts after training or certification.
  • Warehouse setting with exposure to environmental conditions such as temperature and noise.
  • May require availability or flexibility for escalations.
