What We Look For In a Autocad Tutor
- Advanced Subject Mastery: Deep knowledge of AutoCAD 2D drafting, 3D modeling, dimensioning, layers, blocks, hatching, plotting, annotation, and file management. Emphasizes precision and industry-standard practices and connects AutoCAD skills to AEC and manufacturing design workflows.
- Curriculum Awareness & Adaptive Instruction: Familiar with AutoCAD curricula and common challenges such as understanding coordinate input methods, managing drawing scale, and setting up print layouts. Adapts instruction using drafting exercises, real-world project examples, and progressive skill-building to support students from AutoCAD beginners through advanced users preparing for professional drafting and design roles in architecture, engineering, and construction industries.
- Effective Teaching Methods: Ability to identify concepts students commonly struggle with, explain material using multiple approaches, and adapt instruction to meet individual learning needs and styles.
